Industrial Coatings

Volatile Free, Inc. offers high-strength, sprayable polyurea, polyurethane, hybrid, and silicone solutions for protecting prepared surfaces in commercial and industrial applications, such as below-grade waterproofing, joint filling, ablative protection, secondary containment, and more. These coatings form seamless barriers that provide corrosion, abrasion, chemical, and impact resistance to substrates. They can be built up to a variety of thicknesses for longer-lasting durability. We can also formulate coatings with unique properties that meet strict specifications, depending on your needs.

VFI®-200 50 D Slow Polyurea Coating

VFI-200 50 D Slow Polyurea Coating is a two-component, 100% solids, spray-applied coating capable of high builds on metal, concrete, and masonry. It is best used for industrial applications when spraying on horizontal surfaces to create a structure that protects from chemicals, abrasion, and impact. Due to its slower speed, VFI-200 has less chance of creating a heavy surface texture, which is why it is perfect for spraying larger areas that need little to no texture. VFI also offers different formulas in medium (VFI-201) and fast (VFI-202) setting speeds based on application needs.

VFI®-201 50 D Polyurea Coating

VFI-201 50 D Polyurea Coating is a fast setting, two-component, 100% solids, spray-applied coating capable of high builds over prepared metal, concrete, and masonry. It is a general-purpose polyurea that has great adhesion to many surfaces with properties that allow for flexibility when spraying vertically or horizontally. VFI-201 is best used for industrial applications to create a structure over surfaces that need protection from chemicals, abrasion, and impact. Based on application needs, VFI offers different formulas with faster (VFI-202) and slower (VFI-200) setting speeds.

VFI®-202 50 D Fast Polyurea Coating

VFI-202 50 D Fast Polyurea Coating is a fast-setting, two-component, spray-applied coating that excels at low-build, thinner passes on prepared metal, concrete, and masonry surfaces. It is best used for industrial applications when spraying vertically or overhead and won’t drip. It creates structure over the surface to provide protection from chemicals, abrasion, and impact. The coating is perfect when a faster setting time is needed, and self-texturing is desired. VFI offers different polyurea formulas in slow (VFI-200) and medium (VFI-201) setting speeds based on application needs.

VFI®-270 70 A Polyurea Spray Coating

VFI-270 70 A Polyurea Spray Coating is a flexible spray-applied coating that creates a smooth, durable film on flexible surfaces. The two-component material is 100% solids and has fast-setting capabilities to achieve high builds on vertical surfaces without sagging. As a polyurea, it has resistance to impact and thermocycling as well as low moisture sensitivity for use in all environments. VFI-270 provides an elastomeric surface without adding too much structure or weight.

VFI®-425 High Pressure Foundation Spray Coating

VFI-425 High Pressure Foundation Spray Coating is a fast setting, 100% solids polyurea hybrid with excellent tensile strength. When applied before backfilling, the coating creates a seamless, long-lasting barrier that waterproofs commercial and residential foundations. The membrane’s low permeability prevents water from penetrating into the foundation walls. As a polyurea hybrid, it has excellent chemical resistance and will not degrade underground. VFI-425 is an exterior defense for the foundation and provides the durability required to lengthen the life of the structure.

VFI®-520 QS Bedliner Repair

VFI-520 QS Bedliner Repair is a slow-setting polyurea hybrid coating that adheres to polyurea and polyurea hybrid material to repair scratches, blisters, and other damage. It can be applied by brush or injected using the VFI-7500 Qwik Spray Gun for easy application and less prep work. VFI-520 includes a chemical thickener that allows it to thicken to a mastic consistency so it’s easier to spread and imprint texture. The patch material can be sanded and top coated to create a uniform finish. For larger repairs or to renew your faded bedliner, a recoat can be applied using VFI-542, VFI-543, or VFI-544.

VFI®-543 Low Pressure Spray Bedliner

VFI-543 Low Pressure Spray Bedliner is a fast setting, 100% solids, polyurea hybrid bedliner. It creates a durable and rust preventive layer over any surface for long-lasting protection. As a low-pressure material, it is an economical option for a spray-on bedliner and is great for applications that don’t require rapid cure times. It has the ability to withstand cracking, warping, and peeling in extreme hot and cold temperatures. VFI-543’s polyurea hybrid technology provides high properties, including excellent tensile strength and elongation, to protect the surface from damage and extend its life.

VFI®-544 Qwik Spray Bedliner

VFI-544 Qwik Spray Bedliner is a fast setting, 100% solids, polyurea hybrid bedliner that works in conjunction with the Qwik Spray System. It provides truck beds with a durable and watertight layer of protection. As a cartridge system, it allows new applicators the ability to spray while still providing the same long-lasting quality and high properties as a high-pressure spray. VFI-544 has been through long-term, real-life testing to prove it is durable under environmental strain. While strong, the coating also maintains flexibility, protecting the surface from wear to lengthen its life.
