VFI-3130 is a plural component spray,  aromatic polyurea polymer. It is recommended for use as a superior structural coating because of its unique combination of high hardness and high elongation, imparting excellent impact resistance and thermal cycling stability in a wide combination of climatic conditions. VFI-3130 can be used on a variety of substrates including EPS and other typical for building materials.

VFI-3130 passes ASTM E84-16, "The Standard Method of Test for Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials."

VFI-3130 Polyurea Spray Elastomer System - Fire Rated

VFI-3130 Advantages

  • Low VOC's
  • Superior hardness
  • Excellent impact resistance
  • Excellent thermal cycling stability
  • Waterproof encapsulating material
  • Structural for foam sculptures
  • Standard color is cream
  • Two component systems
  • 100% solids

VFI-3130 is a two component, 100% solids, one to one by volume, aromatic polyureae polymer. It is characterized by high hardness and tensile strength with good elongation, good chemical and solvent reistance and usability under wide climatic conditions with outstanding durability.

VFI-3130 requires hot airless plural component equipment capable of producing a minimum spray pressure of 2000psi and heat to 140°F to 160°F. Higher pressures between 2000-3000 psi may provide better mixing with optimal physical properties for the end product.

The product must be over 70°F for proper mixing and application. Sealing porous surfaces with VFI-1007 Primer is recommended.
